Many local communities in the Midwest offer opportunities to participate in ongoing support groups — Woman Within Circles. These circles are small groups of women which meet on a regular basis to support each other in their personal growth.

These circles are committed to using a structured set of skills for women to learn how to create a safe environment and to effectively support and communicate with each other. Training in these skills can take many forms. Examples are:

  1. Guided Multi-Week Training — women meet on a regular basis and training is facilitated by experienced Guides.
  2. Guided Weekend Intensive Training — takes place over one weekend and is led by experienced Guides.
  3. Self Guided — by group members using a resource such as the “Woman to Woman Midwest Circle Workbook: Building Vibrant Circles” available through Woman to Woman Midwest which provides information needed to lead circle meetings.
